I emailed my MD-RA inspector this past week to see when he might be able to do my final inspection. He replied with quite possibly Friday July 2, 2010. Although I was planning on conducting my compass swing this weekend the weather did not co-operate so my brother Bernie and I prepared the aircraft for inspection by removing the engine cowlings, various inspection panels, fairings, cabin covers and the baggage compartment bulkhead.
